1. Who is this site for?

This site is for people who need to know about new technologies and how they are used. The audience includes consultants and contractors, sales and marketing staff, CIO's, IT Directors and managers, all of whom find themselves needing to gen up on a subject. Either you can laboriously browse the Web and eventually find a few resources that might help you, or you can come to all-about-IT.org.

2. Aren't you just ripping off materials from a whole number of Web sites?

No. One of the founding principles is that there is enough very good information on the Web that has been written already, it is pointless to re-invent or plagiarise. We point you to these articles and we frequently acknowledge the sources. Also, we write enough of an introduction to show that we know what we are talking about.

3. Where do you look for information?

There are a number of very good search engines and portal sites on the Web. Trouble is, they don't tell you the answers, but they give a number of potential resources. We take the time to dig through results of searches and the listings generated by portal sites, and identify the best articles to answer the question in hand. That's our job, we do it so you can get on with yours. The portals and search sites we list are the ones we have found the most helpful, so they'll be your best bet if you want to dig deeper.
